HomeServe USA has agreed to acquire US-based digital advertising agency Vincodo for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will enhance the buyer’s in-house digital and search engine marketing (SEM) operations to help reach potential new customers.

Following the transaction, Vincodo will immediately provide in-house support to HomeServe and its subsidiary, elocal USA.

The target’s 15 employees will join the buyer and report to its chief digital officer, Jeff Paradise.

Pennsylvania-headquartered Vincodo is a full-service digital agency, which focuses on customer acquisitions and sales growth via SEM and online advertising.

Its lead generation software allows clients to increase their conversion rate by implementing a total plan that may include an outreach contact timeline, email follow-up strategies and data validation technology before accepting and paying for leads.

The group’s products ensure clients receive the best return on their investments for digital marketing campaigns.

Vincodo also offers website analytics, display and social media advertising services, among others.

Upon closing, the company will continue to manage its existing clients across the e-commerce, membership marketing and merchandise sales segments.

Paradise said: “SEM is a critical channel in digital acquisition and the purchase of Vincodo will deliver on our goal to in-source our biggest and most strategic channels to further accelerate our growth.”

By combining the target with its existing digital marketing teams at HomeServe and elocal, the buyer will be strategically positioned to reach the largest target audiences for both businesses.

Headquartered in Connecticut, the acquiror claims to be the leading provider of home repair services for customers across the US and Canada.

It carries out boiler installations, leak detection and repairs for water, sewer and heating, ventilation and air conditioning devices.

Established in 2003, the company also provides electrics, plumbing and drains cover, as well as comparing insurance for landlords and flats.
